The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is a federally funded program that provides housing assistance to eligible low- and moderate-income families. The rules and regulations are determined by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This program enables families to obtain decent, safe and sanitary housing by subsidizing a portion of each participant’s monthly rent. This subsidy is paid directly to the property owner on a monthly basis.

How to Apply

The WHA Section 8 List is closed at this time. We will advertise in the local newspaper, inform community service agencies throughout the state, and advertise via 211 when the list re-opens.
